Kenwood DMC-K7R MD Player/Recorder

Pretty sweet looking eh? Even if you don't like sushi, you still have to commend the Japanese for their innovative designs in consumer products. Unlike most American products, where functionality define design, the Japanese at least try to put an effort into presentation and inventiveness. The design of the K7R may not be for everyone, but it's sure a departure from all the designs we've seen. It's something that you wouldn't be embarassed to be seen in public with.

Aside from the pretty face, the K7R is a great MD player too. It's loaded with functions and features like synchronous recording, recording editing, and a remote control (connected to the headphone wire). The sound is clear and the 3 level bass boast can give your music more boom. The synchronous recording function is quite handy when you're recording tracks from your CD collection or computer. It detects when the start and end of a track is and records accordingly. The unit accepts digital as well as analog inputs so can record digitally from your CD player if it supports optical outputs (and if you have the appropriate fibre cable).
